Against The Box is a financial trading strategy where an investor takes a position that is opposite to the prevailing market trend or consensus. This strategy involves selling short a security that is expected to decline in value, while simultaneously buying long a security that is expected to increase in value. The purpose of this strategy is to profit from the anticipated price movements of the two securities, regardless of the overall market direction.
