Full Definition Of Alkaline

Alkaline is a Jamaican dancehall artist whose real name is Earlan Bartley. He gained popularity in the music industry with his unique style and controversial lyrics. However, he has faced legal issues throughout his career.

In 2016, Alkaline was arrested and charged with multiple offences, including conspiracy to murder, illegal possession of firearm, and ammunition. The charges stemmed from a police investigation into a murder case, where Alkaline was allegedly involved. However, he was later released without charge due to insufficient evidence.

In addition to criminal charges, Alkaline has also faced legal action for his music. In 2017, he was sued by a Jamaican promoter for breach of contract. The promoter claimed that Alkaline failed to fulfil his contractual obligations by not performing at a scheduled event. The case was eventually settled out of court.
