“Go bail” is a phrase used to describe a situation where one person acts as surety or guarantor for another person who has been arrested or detained. By providing bail, the individual promises to ensure the appearance of the accused in court at a specified time and date. If the accused fails to appear, the person who provided bail may be required to pay a forfeited bond or face other legal consequences. “Go bail” essentially means to act as a surety or to provide bail on behalf of another individual.
