The book Lex Romana Visigothorum, created by Visigoth king Alaric II in 506, was an abridged version of Roman law intended for his Roman subjects. Edited and distributed by Alaric’s chancellor, Anian, it was also known as Breviarium Alaricianum or Breviary of Alaric.
